Examples of some of the successful appeals and applications that I have dealt with:

  • Shoreham: Application approved for replacment of front window to aluminium bi-folding window with arch design to front elevation and replacement window to west elevation for a pub.
  • Shoreham: Application approved for installation of replacement externally illuminated fascia sign to a pub.
  • Weybridge: Design and Access & Planning Statements to support application for a new detached house - application approved.
  • Felpham: Application won to replace burnt down cottage with a similar sized single storey property (Departure from the Development Plan).
  • East Preston: Non-material amendment application approved to replace specified roof tiles.
  • Steyning: Erection of a rear first floor extension won on appeal following refusal by Horsham District Council.
  • Worthing: Application approved for a conversion from two flats to a three bedroom house.
  • Crowborough: Demolition of stables, pole barn and detached garage. Erection of single storey annexe and detached garage won on appeal following refusal by Wealden District Council.
  • Catherington: Erection of a new 4 no. bedroom dwelling and detached triple garage won on appeal following refusal by East Hampshire District Council.
  • Portslade: Erection of one 2no. bedroom bungalow (C3) won on appeal following refusal by Brighton & Hove City Council.
  • East Dean: Consent approved on appeal for a new access and parking following refusal by South Downs National Park Authority.
  • Southampton: Erection of storage building rear of a block of flats. Refused by Southampton City Council and Enforcement Notice issued. Appeal against the Enforcement Notice won and consent was granted on appeal.
  • Worthing: Application for a new illuminated shop sign approved.
  • Worthing: Application for a change of use shop approved.
  • Portsmouth: Application for conversion and new build for 5 No. flats approved.
  • Ascot: Appeal won for new front porch and conservatory after refusal by local authority.
  • Waterlooville: Application for conversion of house into two separate dwellings approved.
  • Brighton: Change of use approved for conversion of shop and house to residential.
  • Brighton: Appeal won for extensions at the rear of the property following refusal by Brighton & Hove City Council.
  • Southampton: Permission granted on appeal for a rear dormer and three roof windows.
  • Waterlooville: Permission granted for conversion of dwelling into two dwellings.
  • Brighton: Replacement of shopfront application approved by Brighton & Hove City Council.
  • Worthing: Conversion of storage building into a flat refused by Worthing Borough Council but approved following an successful appeal.
  • Billingshurst: Application for reposition and replacement of industrial noise extraction plant approved by Horsham District Council.
  • Littlehampton: Application approved for demolition of existing bungalow with five new detached houses.
  • Horsham: Change of use application from cold store to residential approved.

  • Washington (South Downs National Park): Planning application approved for rebuilding former derelict dwelling.
  • Brighton: Appeal approved following refusal of planning application by Brighton & Hove City Council for use of a house as a HMO.
